Wilton Public School Montefiore District #1
Mission Statement
Working together to
Promote academics, cultural acceptance and social skills to
Succeed in an ever-changing society
Wilton Public School is located in a small town, population 720 , in Wilton, North Dakota. The town's proximity to Bismarck, 22 miles, makes this town an excellent town to reside in, raise your family in, and enjoy the short distance to one of North Dakota's larger cities. The high academic standards set by the Wilton Public School and the smallness of the school entices many families to enter their children in the school system. The extra-curricular activities, which include basketball, football, volleyball, track, golf, drama, Student Council, FCCLA, FFA, and jazz band, allow a wide variety of choices for the students. The Wilton Public School maintains a robust enrollment and an ever increasing zeal to improve school standards set by the local school board, state and national boards. Technology is a very important improvement that has moved the Wilton Public School into the future. Every teacher has a smart board, which is utilized by both the teachers and students. New computer labs have been established for both the elementary and high school students, and instituting new technology ideas is always at the forefront of our administration. The adminsitration, teachers and students take pride in our school, and all are encouraged to maintain that school spirit throughout the school year. We invite and encourage the community and visitors to stop and view the pride we take in our academic institution.
