photograph of Mr. BenderMy name is Cordell Bender and this is my second year as the Elementary Physical Education teacher at Wilton Public School. I am originally a graduate from Wilton High School. I attended the University of Mary for my Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. I like sports, especially MLB baseball and NFL football. My favorite teams are the Atlanta Braves and the Minnesota Vikings. I also like being outdoors, making things with my hands and playing guitar.

The North Dakota Physical Education Standards are:

Standard 1. The physically literate individual demonstrates competency in a variety of motor skills and movement patterns. Standard 2. The physically literate individual applies knowledge of concepts, principles, strategies and tactics related to

movement and performance.

Standard 5. The physically literate individual recognizes the value of physical activity for health, enjoyment, challenge, self- expression and/or social interaction.
