Welcome to my page! This is my second year as a Reading and Math Specialist which allows me to work with students in grades Pre-school to 6th grade. I completed my 20 graduate classes and have officially received my certificate to be an English Language (EL) teacher. This allows me to work with students in grades K-12 whose second language is English.

I grew up in a very small town in North Dakota called Pembina with my two older brothers. After high school, I received my teaching degree from the University of North Dakota – GO SIOUX!!!! Yes I know their name has changed, but I can’t quit calling them the Sioux.  After graduation, I taught 2nd grade for 4 years in Rolette, ND and 2nd grade for 3 years in Wilton.  I’ve sure enjoyed all my years of teaching and I know there will be many more fun years to come!

I live in Bismarck with my wonderful husband Jon and step-son Carsten who will be in 7th grade.  I LOVE to cook and make up my own recipes. I also enjoy traveling, shopping, sports, exercising, and hunting. I am obsessed with peanut butter and could eat it on almost anything.

FINALLY…… of my siblings had a child so I became an auntie. My brother and his wife blessed our family with TWINS. My niece and nephew were born July 5, 2016 and I am smitten over them both.
