Candy Corn Reading!

The December 17th forecast calls for: SNOWBALL!
The annual Snowball Dance will be held at the Wilton Gym from 7:00 PM to midnight. Grades 7-12 are invited. Admission will be $5 at the door. Additional details will be released at a future date.

It’s regional volleyball time. The Miners will host a play-in game in Wilton on Thursday (October 3) at 7:00 pm. It is yet to be determined as to who we will play.

Why is this a good investment?
Our data shows that we have stayed above the state averages. We continue to provide opportunities to take classes in areas of interest for our students. Getting them hands on experiences in interested careers, helps set them up for success once they graduate from Wilton Public Schools.

Mrs. W’s 3rd graders were SO excited to see their adopted class pet, Daisy the dairy calf! They are participating in the “Adopt a Cow” program where they get updates on their calf throughout the year and learn all about the dairy industry.

The Envirothon Teams did a great job at the Regional Competition in Washburn last week.

A huge "Thank You" once again to anyone who donated to the September Book Blast. Final numbers are in. The students pictured here are the top donation earners in their class, and as such won a $100 gift certificate from Book Blast to spend on their website. Ine lucky student was the top earner in the school, so she gets $200! The teachers pictured won $100 to spend on classroom needs because their class had at least 60% participation in the Book Blast. We are so lucky to have so much community support for our staff and students!
