Students in 6th grade learned from ND artist Nicole about the JR. Duck Stamp and created illustrations of North American waterfowl to enter into the JR Duck Stamp Contest. This opportunity was through the US Fish and Wildlife Services. Students who wish to enter have a chance to win at the state and national level.

In science today, the 4th graders had to work together in groups to build ramps. The goal was to make their car go the furthest. It was fun to see these young scientists at work collaborating and designing together. There were a lot of lightbulb moments through trial and error.
