Congratulations to the Wilton Acalympic teams for representing us well at the Region Competition tonight in Linton!

The secondary music students had a fantastic last week and a half! The 5th-8th grade played and sang at the McLean County Music Festival on March 7th and received all blue and red ribbons. The band and choir performed at the Large Group Music Contest on March 11th and received all Excellent Ratings. Congrats to all involved!

Friendly reminders to parents, guardians, community members, and staff today (March 17) at 5:30 pm is our annual Spring Review of Wilton Public School Schoolwide Title 1 program. Come learn about how this intervention program benefits our learners in Reading and Math at Wilton, as well as provide ideas and feedback during this event. See everyone in the Title 1 classroom at 5:30 pm.

Kindergarten had a big week! They became published authors and had a book signing, as well as set up their own neighborhood they created. Mrs. W is so proud of their hard work!

March Food Pantry Distribution

Miners Watch Party!! Doors open at 5:30! If you aren’t able to hit the highway to Minot with the weather, anyone who would like to still get together and cheer on the Miners is welcome to go to the school. Wilton school will be open this evening for a watch party in the commons area. Anyone and everyone is welcome and they’ll have all the TV’s on and concessions available! Game starts at 7:00. Go Miners!!

Congratulations to the Washburn-Wilton speech team for another outstanding showing at the New Salem Invitational Meet held today in New Salem. There were 26 schools competing today! Elementary VB and BB start Monday! Girls VB practice next week M-W 3:30-4:30. Elementary Boys BB practice starts Monday 6:45 am.

Digital tickets are available for the State Qualifying game in Minot. The Miners play Bishop Ryan at approximately 7:00 PM Saturday at the Minot Municipal Auditorium. Congrats to the Miners Boys Basketball Team on their second place finish at Regionals. The Miners play in a State Qualifying game on Saturday in Minot at the auditorium at approximately 7:00 pm. Congrats to Teigen and Will on being selected to the all region team!

At the current time, the Region 4 Boys Basketball Tournament will proceed as scheduled. The Wilton-Wing Miners will take on the Central McLean Cougars for the championship at approximately 7:00 PM CST in Killdeer. The game will be streamed on PSP+ and does require a paid subscription.

March athletic training schedule

The Region 4 Basketball Tournament utilizes GoFan ticketing. This digital ticket is available for purchase at https://gofan.co/app/school/NDHSAA or through the GoFan app. Digital tickets purchased through GoFan are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets purchased with cash at the gate are $15 for adults and $5 for students. Digital tickets can be transferred one-time through text or email. There will be a separate line for digital ticket entry.
