The volleyball team is proud to announce that we raised over $10,000 for Sheila! This would not have been possible without all the behind the scenes work and all your generosity through tshirt sales, bracelet sales, donations, blanket auction purchases, silent auction donations and purchases, and participation/donation from Marlene's Trendz pink hair accessories. We live in an amazing community that helps us put this on for people we care about each year. Thank you to ALL surrounding communities, especially Wilton, Wing, and Washburn for showing how much you care! On this special night, not only did we get to honor Mrs. VanderWal, but our seniors had their final game on their home court and sang the national anthem. Sophia Krush also got to celebrate her achievement of 1000 kills. It was an amazing night, and I am incredibly blessed to be able to coach this team. ~Coach W

During buddy time this week, the classroom buddies decorated leaves together. Make sure to check out the buddy tree student council created from those leaves!
At the Middle School State Cross Country Meet today in Bismarck, the Roughriders had several outstanding performances from our junior high athletes!
The following athletes earned All-State honors for finishing in the top-20 of their race!
6th Grade Girls 1 Mile:
Gracelyn Lussenden - 16th place
7th/8th Grade Boys 3k:
Jace Dworshak - State Runner-Up!!! (and new school record!)
Colt Biesterfeld - 9th place
There were many other PRs to finish the JH season! The amount of growth these young athletes have shown is truly impressive. The future of this program is very bright!

Dinner is optional and will start at 6:00PM, followed by the performance at 7:00 PM. Dinner and performance tickets will be sold separately at the door, so you can choose to join us for dinner, the show, or both!

West Region Cross Country Championships Recap:
The boys and girls traveled to Dickinson for a beautiful day to have the Region Meet. Although no official results have been posted yet, here’s what we can confirm:
The girls team represented our communities well! They were led by Rissy Hruby, followed closely by Ciarra Steinert, Auggy Jaeger, and Adlyn Neumiller. Lacy Seidler rounded out the team scoring as the #5 runner today. Brielle Lussenden barely missed state qualifying but had a massive PR in her attempt! Gracelyn Lussenden was 2nd overall in the 6th grade girls mile race!
The boys finished in 4th as a team, just missing out on a team trophy. They were led by 3rd-place overall Daniel Neumiller, who cut another 17 seconds off his co-op record! Joining him in earning All-Region honors were Jace Dworshak and Theron Arbach, who were 18th and 20th, respectively. Easton Kugler and Colt Biesterfeld rounded out the scoring for the Roughriders. Valerio Hernandez ran a qualifying time, while DJ Lagerquist just missed in a valiant effort.
Official results still need to come in, but it was a great day. The JH kids will compete next Saturday at the Middle School State Meet, while all the qualifiers will compete in two weeks at the North Dakota State Championships in Jamestown. Go Roughriders!!!
