What a great first couple days of practice! We don’t have everyone pictured but have an amazing 15 girls on our 2026 SMC girls golf team!!!! It’s not too late to join!! I am so blessed to be advising these wonderful humans. Congratulations to our July Miner Lifters of the Month! High School: Levi & Kinsley Middle School: Blake Your hard work, dedication, and commitment in the weight room have paid off. Keep up the great work!

Due to maintenance issues at our football field, all JH, JV, and Varsity football games will be played in Washburn until further notice. The Park Board is actively working to address these issues to ensure a safe playing surface for both football and softball moving forward. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Football camp for Grades 5-8 will still take place tonight from 5:30-8:00. Those participating are to meet at the bus barn near the football field in Washburn to begin camp. Reminder that grades 7-8 will check out gear after camp.

Weight Room Hours this Week!

Here is information for those in grades 7-12 planning to play football for Southern McLean this fall. Grades 9-12 begin practice August 6. Grades 7 & 8 begin practice August 10. All players need a physical prior to being able to practice. More information will be shared in a player-parent meeting video next week. A calendar of practices and games through Labor Day. Today, July 9: The bookmobile is here! Whether it's storming/raining or a sunny day at the lake, any day is a good day for reading, so head downtown and get a book (or five)!

They will be parked downtown across from the bank from 12:30-2:00 PM.
