Good morning! I just don't want to risk people driving today. The snow will pass but the winds make it difficult and visibility not great. We can't run buses in this wind. I am going to cancel today. The music program will be reschedule for January 12th. Thanks again for your patience and understanding. These decisions are not made lightly. Stay safe today.
Mr. Jordan
We don't know what tomorrow will bring. I am saying 2 hours late for now and will reassess in the morning. I will try to make the final call by 7:00am. There will be no morning JH Boys basketball practice, no before school program, or breakfast. Thanks for your patience and understanding as we try and make these difficult decisions.

Good morning! We will start school on time today. The roads are not near as bad as they were Tuesday. Buses may run a bit behind. As always, please drive safe and use your judgement. Thanks!
Mr. Jordan
In Miss Ace's 4th grade class we have an advent calendar for the month of December. Today, they had to work together with the people at their table to build and decorate gingerbread houses. There was a lot of teamwork and determination that went into these houses. In the end, none of them stayed up, but when they did, pictures were taken immediately.

2025 THIRD ANNUAL PUKLICH CAPITAL CITY HOLIDAY SHOOTOUT schedule. Miners do not play Saturday but play boys and girls back to back on Monday and Tuesday, December 29-30th.

Miners Basketball broadcast schedule for 2025-26 season on Bek and PSP! It's better live, but if you can't be there, tune in!
The GBB game that was scheduled for 12/9 is now on 12/19 and will be a double header. The GBB JV will start at 3:30 V GBB at 5:00 vs NRS. JV Boys at 6:30 vs Center.
With a no travel advisory, we will be cancelling school today. Please stay safe!
We are going to start 2 hours late to buy some time. We will make a final decision by 8:00am. There will be no before school program or breakfast.
The timing of the rain and wind makes these decisions tough. I am leaning on starting 2 hours late to buy some time. I would rather buy time, then get kids to school and have to send them home. I plan to make that decision in the next 15-20 minutes. Bear with me, this is a difficult one to navigate. Thanks!

Santa Claus Day!

The GBB scheduled for tomorrow 12/9/25 against New Rockford has been postponed because of the weather. We'll post a new GBB schedule soon as we have a new date.
Final reminder that the music fundraiser items will arrive on Monday Dec 8th. Please discuss your plan with your music student and have fun delivering all the items! 😊

We have been diligently watching the weather and road reports and after consultation with administrators from Wilton and Wing as well as with parents and students, we have made the decision to postpone the Snowball Dance. While we realize this may be disappointing to some, we will always prioritize the safety of our students. We did not feel that holding the dance under a winter weather advisory with low temperatures forecast in addition to wind and snow and dark roads at the conclusion of the dance was worth the risk. Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Student Council Advisor Brett Thompson at brett.thompson@k12.nd.us. We will communicate rescheduling information once that has been finalized.
