There will be a meeting on October 5th in the Wilton School lunchroom at 7:30 pm for community members who would like to know what factual resources are available regarding the proposed building project. This meeting will be geared towards community members who may be interested in sharing these resources with others.

We hope students are enjoying their day off as teachers are hard at work learning today!

Teachers started their mornings with a quick 20 minute opportunity to build community with their colleagues during breakfast!

We need volunteers for the NASA night on October 11th! Please let Mrs. Wood know if you are able to help out!

It's been fun giving away Book Blast Treasure Chests and even an iPad over the past two weeks. Coming soon....the $100 Book Blast shopping sprees to our top donation-getters in each grade (PreK-8) AND one overall schoolwide winner! Donations accepted until Sunday night at midnight. Next week, 7th street (road west of the school) from Bismarck Ave to Burleigh Ave will be shut down due to the water project. Buses will be dropping off and picking up students on the east side of the elementary next week (5th street). We will still have access to the front of the school, but you won't be able to enter or exit on 7th street. Bus students will enter and exit the east side of the school. Parents who pick their kids up can still use the front entrance.

The homecoming shirts have been passed out to those students that ordered. Please check backpacks for these. Washburn has informed us that they did not receive the correct number of youth small shirts and some that ordered youth small may get a youth medium. We apologize for this. We did not handle the orders or money, so we are not able to assist with this.

Please make sure to send warm clothing with your child tomorrow. Most classes will be attending the Kickball game outside tomorrow morning. The forecast is supposed to be 50 and cloudy. We want to make sure everyone has warm clothing so everyone can enjoy the game!

This week’s edition of The Leader News incorrectly lists Sept. 30 v Killdeer in Wilton as the Homecoming football game. Homecoming is Sept. 23 vs. Heart River in Wilton. Southern McLean plays Killdeer in Killdeer Sept. 30.

Washburn has informed us that the homecoming shirts are scheduled for delivery today and that they will be delivering them to Wilton and Wing Schools after they are sorted. We will do our best to send these home with students today. Thank you for your patience.
