Volleyball awards night
Come one come all! On November 12th at 7pm the Wilton Drama club is performing their play "Hood, Of Sherwood" for the public. Dinner is before the show from 5:30-6:15pm. Enjoy a night of delicious food and hilarious characters!
Congratulations to Wilton alum, Jordyn Thorson, for placing 22nd at the GPAC XC Championships today! She missed All-Conference by 2 spots.
Context on how impressive her time was: her pace for a 5k, which is what girls run in high school, was a 19:10. The class B State Champion ran 19:48 this year.
Way to make Wilton proud, Jordyn! We look forward to seeing what you can do in Track and Field!!!

Thank you Lacey Feist, Sanford Sports Medicine, Athletic Trainer, for hosting this taping workshop. Some of the Wilton Wing coop coaches attended. It was very educational.
The Wilton Wing varsity Volleyball team will host Garrison on Thursday, November 2 at 7:00 pm in Wilton. This will be a regional play-in game. Admission is set by NDHSAA ($10 for adults and $5 for students). No local passes will be accepted. Come out and cheer the Miners on to a victory.
The JHGBB game scheduled for Friday, November 3 has been moved to Saturday, November 4 at 10 am at the Washburn High School

Halloween update:
Due to road conditions deteriorating, there will be no activities after school today. The volleyball game with Dakota Adventist Academy will not be played tonight. Please drive safe, if you have to travel.
Scherling Photography will be at the school Thursday morning to do picture retakes. If you would like to have your child's picture retaken, please communicate that to your child. There is no need to contact the school office regarding this.
Roughrider Cross Country wrapped up the season with a frigid race in Jamestown today. The girls finished in 13th place (out of 50 teams) and the boys finished in 20th (out of 57). All the athletes ran well - especially given the conditions. Coach Tweeten and Coach Stamstad are very proud. Go Roughriders!

With the first snowfall it seems like a great time to remind/announce that the annual SnowBall Dance will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2. More information will be available at a future date. This semi-formal dance is for Wilton and Wing students in grades 7-12 and put on by the Wilton Student Council.
