Washburn Riverboat Days will include a 3 on 3 tournament on June 10 for boys and girls going into grades 4-12. Please see the flyer for more details.


The Washburn Public Library will be hosting a summer reading program from June 5-July 16, 2023 titled, “ALL TOGETHER NOW!”
Preschoolers, kids, teens, and adults are invited to read books, participate in educational programs and activities, and win cool prizes all summer long!

Elementary volleyball season is officially over and the girls got together for some pizza and fun to celebrate their improvement! It's so awesome to see how far the girls come every year in such a short amount of time. Way to go, Miners!

Jordyn has officially broken the Southern McLean school record in the 800 meter run!


Had a fun day Saturday and State music! We had three out of our five events star and the other two got a 1. So proud of all our musician and so grateful to PTO for sponsoring our meal!




1st Grade went to Gateway to Science & Eagles Park for their field trip on Friday. Lots of learning & fun was had by all! 💜











The second graders have enjoyed spending some extra time outdoors working on their writing and reading books!

The Bookmobile will be in Wilton on the following dates: June 1, July 6, and August 3, 2023. If you find bookmobile books at home after school is out, you can return them on these dates.

The Kindergarten class collaborated with Mrs. Martinson's Independent Living class. The Kindergartners drew monsters and answered questions about them, which the older students turned into stories and real stuffed monsters!
