Halloween update:
Due to road conditions deteriorating, there will be no activities after school today. The volleyball game with Dakota Adventist Academy will not be played tonight. Please drive safe, if you have to travel.
Scherling Photography will be at the school Thursday morning to do picture retakes. If you would like to have your child's picture retaken, please communicate that to your child. There is no need to contact the school office regarding this.
Roughrider Cross Country wrapped up the season with a frigid race in Jamestown today. The girls finished in 13th place (out of 50 teams) and the boys finished in 20th (out of 57). All the athletes ran well - especially given the conditions. Coach Tweeten and Coach Stamstad are very proud. Go Roughriders!

With the first snowfall it seems like a great time to remind/announce that the annual SnowBall Dance will take place on Saturday, Dec. 2. More information will be available at a future date. This semi-formal dance is for Wilton and Wing students in grades 7-12 and put on by the Wilton Student Council.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28 NDHSAA CROSS COUNTRY STATE MEET MESSAGE:
Fans attending the 2023 NDHSAA Cross Country State Meet on Saturday, October 28 at Jamestown’s Parkhurst Campground/Pipestem Reservoir are encouraged to use all-wheel drive vehicles or to carpool with someone who does. The Jamestown High School parking lot (1509 10th St NE, Jamestown, ND 58401) may be used as a meeting point.
Awards Ceremonies will now be held at the Theatre in Jamestown High School.
Class B Awards will start at 2:15 p.m. and Class A Awards will start at 6:00 p.m.

The State Cross Country meet has been moved to Saturday! Girls run at noon; boys at 12:45.

Tis the season for snow! As we prepare for winter, I wanted to touch base with you on how we will communicate snow days. We will always try to make the decision before the buses go out in the morning. We will send out an alert, post on Facebook, as well as post on KFYR TV and KX TV.

Volleyball girls had a fun long weekend! They took in a UMary game and had a sleepover at the school, complete with a 3-on-3 tournament. #teambonding
