It's cookie dough time!!! The 7-12 music students went home with cookie dough/frozen goods order forms today. Find your favorite music student to purchase some yummy treats and help us get to Nashville!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Tomorrow, 7th street from Burleigh to Bismarck Ave is being paved. This means our buses will be parking on the east side of the school for drop off and pick up. Parents dropping or picking their child(ren) up can still park in front of the school, you just won't be able to exit on 7th street.
Also, a reminder there is no school this Thursday and Friday.

There were some issues with the photo order forms from Scherling Photography. If you have already ordered, this is not applicable to you. If your photo order form did not bring up a photo of your child, new forms will be sent home today and orders will be due by October 29. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience!

Miners Making a Difference

Congratulations to Kari (12th) and Erin (18th) for earning All-Region today at the West Region Cross Country Championships in Standing Rock! Great job ladies!

The Book Blast books arrived and were dispersed earlier this week. Five classroom teachers won $100 shopping sprees thanks to class participation. (Not pictured: Mrs. Hutzenbiler). A sincere thank you to everyone who donated money to help get books for the children's home libraries. All students in grades PreK-8 received at least three books!

More pictures of students opening their books.

October is National Principal's Month!

JHGBB practices will begin October 17. All 6-7-8th grade girls are welcome to participate. Practices will be in Wing, with most games in Wilton. A letter will be sent home with the girls and also emailed to the parents.

October is National Bullying Awareness Month. The 5th grade is taking this opportunity to educate the community about CYBERbullying. If you see a flier hanging around, please read it. They will also be educating some community members at the Pioneer Activity Center in downtown Wilton later next week.

Lewis and Clark Regional Envirothon in Washburn this week. Our Wilton teams placed 4th and 5th overall. Great Job!

Scherling Photography order forms were sent home with students this week. These are the forms to order school pictures. Photo orders are online and all orders completed prior to Oct. 22 will be delivered to the school. Orders after that date can be shipped to homes for a fee.

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU to everyone that donated or purchased t-shirts, bracelets, baked goods, and silent auction items and attended the game last night. There was an amazing turnout, and I cannot thank everyone enough for all the hard work that was put into making pink night successful. I'm so happy we could organize this event for Angie and her family. Mr. Jordan will be making an announcement later today with the final amount raised. Stay tuned, and thank you again! -Coach Weisgarber
